Why do American’s add an “s” to the end of New Year?
If i have to listen to The Hills clan say how awesome their “New Year(unnecessary s)” is gonna be one more time…I’m gonna watch The City instead.
ps I do know why they say it…its just irritating

Because they are probably talking about New Year’s eve. We just drop the “eve” and it becomes New Year’s.
