I’ve been making 3D objects and setting up a mini photoshoot in my room. Class!
I’ll show you something I’ve actually done now.
Good thing I have a nice camera, because both my objects aren’t amazing. The next one is like this, but more stabby.
I also blending a photo I took the other day because I liked the contrast from the trees to the sky and thought, this would look good on my photo because matty baby said to focus on lighting and shawows for depth. I remember him also mentioning photoshop, I might have just wished he did… but there we go anyway.

Amy, when you read this (which you will cos you stalk me), you missed out today. the lecture was to die foorrr! Seriously, it was about history and theory of art and design in iconic pictures. About the persuative power to change our views through one photograph e.g
buddist monk protesting against americans and the vietnam war. monks don’t believe in violence, which made this image powerful because people couldn’t believe they would willingly kill themselves to make a point. set america back a bit. which means it worked and set america back.
(…this is on the cover of a rage against the machine album as well, hmm)
just an insight as there were no handouts. there’s loads more, good and vulgar/horrific. best lecture so far though. i nearly cried at one point.
